Another winner for Discreet Cat

Cat Lore, by Darley stallion Discreet Cat, started as a favorite and went on to win in her first appearance at the racetrack on Wednesday, December 8. The two-year-old filly broke well from the gate and stalked the leaders in third place and took the lead after turning for home displaying a decisive victory by almost six lengths.
The winner was bred and is owned by Stone Farm, so was carrying the same colors that shined in the 1989 Kentucky Derby with Sunday Silence. Cat Lore is out of the Spectacular Bid mare Starlore who also produced the G2 winner and G1 placed Quest.
It has been a fantastic week for freshman sire Discreet Cat with three winners in only five days including Discreet Dancer who, in his first time out, broke the track record at Gulfstream Park for five and one-half furlongs and recorded a Beyer of 100. Discreet Cat stands at Darley in Kentucky for $12,500 Stands and Nurses and has at the moment 17 winners Worldwide.
